ERWIN KLEIN FOR VACHERON CONSTANTIN HARDSTONE SCULPTURE "KINGFISHER" Erwin Klein for Vacheron Constantin, Genève. Made in the 1980s. Fine gold, lapis-lazuli, opal, black onyx and pyrite quartz kingfisher sculpture. Accompanied by a fitted box. Realistically modeled kingfisher with lapis-lazuli body, black onyx beak and gold collet-set ruby eyes, opal tongue and fish in the beak, gold feet on a natural pyrite quartz crystal base and oval black onyx gold-rimmed base. Signed on a gold disc set into the body of the bird.
