Cartier, No. 45931. Produced in the 1940's. Fine 14K gold pencil "porte-mine" set with a keyless watch.
C. flat pencil of rectangular cross-section with canted corners, decorated with straight-line engine-turning, and the engraved initials 'J.C.D.', point for adjusting the length of the lead, watch inserted into the top. D. matte silver with Arabic numerals. "Lozenge" blued steel hands. M. Cal. 4''' signed Pery Watch, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial. Diam. 110 mm. Approx. overall length 125 mm.
