Cartier, Paris, 1940's. Extremely fine and rare tonneau shaped, 18-carat gold gentleman's wristwatch with single button chronograph and register, with its 18-carat pink gold Cartier deployant clasp.
C. massive, polished. D. mat silver with Roman numerals + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials. "Breguet" blued steel hands. M. 11"', signed European Watch & Clock Co., rhodiumed, 25 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 2 positions, Breguet balance-spring. The sapphireset winding-crown is also for start-stop and return to zero functions of the chronograph. Dial, case and movement signed. In very good condition. 27 x 27 mm.
