?Black and White? Cartier, Paris, ?Bte. S.G.D.G.?, case No. 6379. Made circa 1915. Very fine and rare, "Art Deco", square, 18K yellow gold, platinum, black onyx and diamond lady's wristwatch with a Cartier white gold buckle set with diamonds.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, bezel set with 2 rows of diamonds, surrounding a row of black onyx geometrical figures, diamond-set winding-crown. D. Matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. Cal. 9???, signed Cartier, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes " decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel flat balancespring. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Dim. 23 x 23 mm. Thickness 5 mm.
