Notes

Introduced as a successor of the Chronomat, the Navitimer was launched in 1952 as a true pilot’s watch. Characterised by its revolving slide bezel that can be used for many navigation calculations, it quickly became associated with the AOPA (Aircraft owners and pilot association) that used their logo on the dial. Furthermore, these first series were equipped with the Venus 178 caliber and had the typical beeded bezel that got replaced on the later generations. This particular example is in very good condition showing great stepped lugs indicating little wear and a fully untouched original dial.
