D. matted silver with radium-coated Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds and 45 minutes register "guilloche " dials, outer graduation for the slide-rule and decimal scale, at the centre, telemeter graduation in red Arabic numerals and indexes. "Baton" radiumcoated steel hands. M. 13" ' with switching wheel, gilt brass, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial and movement signed, numbered on the case. Diam. 36 mm.

Chronomat The first Chronomat was called "Cronomat" and was launched in 1942, the automatic model in a newly designed case in 1976, and in 1984, for its Centenary, Breitling launched a new version of the old "Chronomat". In 1994, this model celebrated its 10th anniversary.
