Breguet "Serpentine", Ref. 3040. Produced in the 1990's. Very fine and unusual, astronomic, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with date, moon phases and ages of the moon and an 18K white gold Breguet buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box.

D. white enamel with painted Breguet numerals, inner concentric circle for the days of the month, aperture for the moon phases and graduation for the age of the moon. "Breguet" blued steel hands, "Serpentine" blued steel hand for the date. M. Cal. 12''', rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 35 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, off-center gold rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm.
