BREGUET FOUR-GLASS MANTEL CLOCK Breguet, No. 1774. Made circa 1900. Rectangular gilt brass and beveled glass, 8-day going, hour and half-hour striking mantel clock.
Glazed on 4 sides with beveled glass panels, molded gilt brass top, pillars and stepped base, hinged front and back doors. White enamel with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five-minute numerals, regulation arbour at 12. Blued steel spade hands. Circular, gilt brass, going barrels for both trains, anchor escapement, spring suspension, pendulum with steel rod and large matte gilt brass bob with rating nut, striking on a coiled steel gong.
