Rare and important 18?carat gold quarter dumb repeating watch. Massive three body 'Empire' case with reeded band and engine turned back. Gilt brass cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals and secret signature. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass bar movement, true Lepine caliber with free standing barrel, Breguet ruby cylinder escapement with plain brass three armed balance, 'parachute' suspension and compensation curb. Striking on the case with two polished steel massive hammers, typical LEPINE repeating train and work. In good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
