C. Double body, Directoire with split-pearl set bezels, the back enamel panel featuring a message of love, painted en grisaille against a dark blue ground, outer pink frame with white decoration. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and outer minute ring. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece.
