Breguet No. 4374, Simple Garde Temps, medaillon excentrique, sold to Lord Clanwilliam on 25 October 1825, for 2800 Francs. Fine and rare small 18K gold and silver watch, construite sur le Principe des Garde Temps, with excentric dial, accompanied by the original gold male ratchet key.

C. Two body, "forme quatre baguettes", No. 760, with silver band and gold bezel, the gold back, engineturned "a grains d'orge", is attached by a bayonet fixing. D. Eccentric, silver engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, small sector aperture below the dial for the Slow/Fast regulator position. Gold Breguet hands. M. 17- , gilt brass, bar calibre, the going barrel with arbre perce, counterpoised straight line lever escapement with draw, jewelled pallets and long lever, two-arm bimetallic compensation balance, the adjustable screws inset in the rim with pare-chute suspension on both pivots, blued-steel flat balance spring with terminal curve. Signed on the dial. Accompanied by Breguet certificate. Diam. 42 mm.
