White enamel, souscription type with Breguet numerals and outer minute ring with special divisions allowing to read time with a precision of two minutes with a single hand. Secret signature below chapter "12" . Blued steel Breguet souscription hand with tapered tip. M. 20 "' , gilt brass, souscription calibre with centre barrel, overhanging ruby cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with parchute suspension, flat blued steel balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator index. Signed on the dial and movement. Accompanied by Breguet certificate No. 2938. Diam. 49 mm.

Provenance: The property of an important American family since the 1920 's. Formerly in the Dollfus collection. Fine example of a typical gold cased Montre de souscription. According to Emmanuel Breguet in his hook, Breguet Ho-logerdepui.s 1775, Alain de Gourcuff Editcur, Paris, 1997, p. 183, Martin Pueche like several other wealthy dealers, business men and hankers such as Pourtales, Havas and Desbarolles, were buying watches and clocks from Breguet for the account of their important clients.
