Audemars Piguet for Cartier, No. 56668, case No. 47180, 1940's. Extremely rare and fine rectangular 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch, with triple date and moon phases.

D. white with Roman numerals + auxiliary dials for the seconds, the day of the month, of the week and the months, aperture for the lunations. "Bâton" blued steel hands. M. 9 1/2', rhodiumed, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjust-ed to temperatures and to 4 positions, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Dim. 25 x 37 mm.
