"Diamond Birds in the Trees" Audemars Piguet, Brassus and Geneva, No. 243964, caliber 5020, Ref. C27978. Made in a limited number in 1988. Very fine and elegant, thin, 18K yellow gold and diamond-set keyless dress watch with skeletonized diamond-set scenic movement.
C. Two-body, stepped bezels and curved band, glazed on both sides. D. Black gold hands against exposed movement. M. Cal. 5020, 37 mm, rhodium-plated skeletonized, the plates pierced, engraved and shaped, diamond-set yellow gold skeletonized plate over the movement decorated with four birds amongst trees, 20 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber. Case and movement signed. Diam. 43 mm.
