Exceptionally fine, highly important and previously unrecorded diamond and paste-set 22K gold and painted on enamel quarter-repeating pair-cased watch striking on a bell or à toc.

Outer: two-body, the back with an ?en grisaille? enamel panel depicting "Apollo and the Four Seasons", diamond-set bezels and button, bezels with translucent dark blue enamel with intertwined chased and engraved foliate pattern with a white enamel band, gold framed piercing for sound transition. Very fine, exceptionally rare and historically important 22K gold, pair-cased pocket watch with symmetric repoussé decoration, the earliest example of its type known to exist.

Very fine and rare aluminium siderograph with central seconds, seconds recorder, split-seconds, 30-hour power reserve indication and stop feature, in a gimballed mahogany deck box.
