Brass and steel, plated rectangular, plain pillars; Riefler's double wheel escapement in which impulse is given via the suspension spring which is retensioned by the escapement at each swing of the pendulum; Riefler's remontoire weight drive in which an arm lifted by an electric coil continually resets a rectangular weight which supplies power to the train; invar rod pendulum ( Riefler's 'K' type) with brass weight and bottom adjustment, oscillation in partial vacum created inside the cylinder.
